1. You must be able to perform controlled turns and controlled stops to be allowed to use the slopes for Open Ski or Snow Board Practice. Anyone unable to perform controlled turns and stops whilst using the slopes for Open Practice will be removed from the slope and payments made will not be refunded.
2. Whilst participating on the slopes at The Snow Park, visitors agree to comply with The Snow Park Code of Conduct, displayed at the bottom of the slopes.
3. Only The Snow Park Instructors are permitted to teach on the slopes. No other person, qualified or unqualified may teach on the slopes.
4. All bookings once made are non refundable and date specific. Cancellations of ski and board lessons can only be accepted if 7 days notice is given by the booker, in such cases an alternative date will be offered but no refunds are given.
5. If management deem it unsafe or unsuitable for lessons to take place and therefore close the use of all or part of the slopes, alternative lesson times will be offered.
6. All lesson fees include the use of ski and snowboard equipment solely for the duration of the lesson. No reductions are given if you use your own equipment. All equipment must be returned as soon as the lesson has finished. Further equipment rental applies as per costs for Open Practice in the event of visitors using the slopes and facilities for Open Practice after the lesson has finished.
7. Snow Tubing is a risk activity. Tubers are allowed to snow tube in a sitting position only. No lying down either forwards or backwards is allowed on the snow tubes. No person wearing ski boots is allowed on the snow tubes. Only recreational footwear is to be worn. Only one person is allowed on the tube at a time. Children must be over the age of 3.
8. The Snow Play area is unsupervised. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
9. Skiing, Snowboarding, Snow Tubing, Tobogganing and snow related activities can be dangerous by their nature. All persons entering The Snow Park (including car parks) do so entirely at their own risk and are subject to these terms and conditions and also to the Terms and Conditions of Diggerland as published on the website www.diggerland.com and displayed on the premises.
10. The Snow Park reserves the right to close any or all of its slopes/lift and facilities at any time without notice. No refunds will be made in the event of closure, but alternative dates will be offered.
11. The Snow Park offers no guarantees on the quality or quantity of the snow it manufactures. No refunds will be allowed in the event of there not being sufficient or reasonable amounts of snow, but alternative dates will be offered.
12. Head protection is highly recommended for all slope users and especially for children. The Snow Park cannot be held responsible for personal injury or accident howsoever caused irrespective of the wearing or otherwise of head protection equipment. Head Protection equipment is available for hire at The Snow Park.
13. If visitors have any existing medical condition that may affect safety on the slopes or on lessons and/or their ability to meet the minimum required standard for Open Practice (see 1 above) they must seek proper medical advice before visiting.
14. In the absence of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, neither The Snow Park nor its employees or agents shall be responsible for claims in the event of the death, personal injury, accident or illness of any visitor or other member of the public.
